Data controller

What data we process

• Data from the “Request a demo” form: full name, institution, email address.
• Data you send us by writing to us directly by email, including the content of your message.
• Technical browsing data: like any web server, the server hosting this site logs IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type. This is needed to run the site and protect it from abuse.

We do not ask for special categories of data (such as health data) and ask you not to include them in your messages.

Why we process it and on what legal basis

• To reply to your request and arrange the demo: processing is necessary to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• To keep the site secure and prevent automated or repeated form submissions: the controller’s legitimate interest in protecting its systems (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• To comply with legal obligations or defend legal claims, where necessary (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Providing the form data is optional, but without your name, institution and email we cannot reply to your request. We do not use your data to send newsletters or promotional messages without your specific consent.

How long we keep it

• Demo requests and related correspondence: up to 24 months from the last contact, unless a contractual relationship begins, in which case the data follows the contract’s retention periods.
• Technical browsing data: no more than 30 days, unless it is needed to investigate unlawful activity.

Who may receive it

Data is processed by people authorised by the controller and by providers that help us deliver the service, appointed as data processors (Art. 28 GDPR):

• the provider of the server hosting the site;
• the provider of the email service through which we receive requests.

We do not sell, transfer or disclose your data.

Transfers outside the European Union

We process data within the European Union. Should a provider process it outside the European Economic Area, the transfer will only take place with the safeguards set out in Articles 44–49 GDPR, such as an adequacy decision or the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

At any time you can request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest (Articles 15–22 GDPR). Simply write to [EMAIL PER LA PRIVACY]: we reply within one month.

If you believe the processing infringes the GDPR you can lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it) or the authority of the country where you live or work.

Automated decisions and changes

We do not make decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling.
